Hi, I'm Haku — the person who builds PinRank
I'm not a big Pinterest influencer, and I won't pretend to be. I'm a maker who got obsessed with one question: why do some pins get found and most don't? So I started reading Pinterest's own documentation, testing what actually moves a pin's keyword ranking, and turning what holds up into small, free tools. PinRank is where that research lives.
That obsession is also why PinRank is honest about its limits in a way the bigger tools aren't. Here's the uncomfortable truth the paid tools bury: no tool has Pinterest's real search volume — Pinterest doesn't publish it. Every "search volume" number you see anywhere is an estimate built from autocomplete and engagement signals. PinRank's competition score is an estimate too, and it says so right under the results. I'd rather you trust the tool than be impressed by it.

The principles I hold it to
- Free and instant. No login, no signup wall, no trial countdown. Open the page, use the tool.
- Private by design. Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded, and PinRank never logs into or scrapes your Pinterest account. (Full details in the privacy policy.)
- Honest about limits. The competition estimate is a heuristic from phrase patterns, not live Pinterest data — the tool says so right under the results. Where a paid tool like PinClicks or Tailwind genuinely does more, my guides say that too, affiliate link or not.
Why free — and how it's funded
The core tools are free because a fast, honest Pinterest keyword check should be. PinRank is funded modestly through affiliate links to a few paid tools I actually think are worth it (clearly marked, never required) and a coming Pro tier in the browser extension. The three free tools on the homepage will stay free.
