Pinterest is a visual search engine: people type words to find pins. If your pin's title and description use the exact words people search, Pinterest shows it to more of them. Keep it to 2–5 at most — but honestly, hashtags matter far less on Pinterest than they used to. The keywords in your title and description do the real work.
