Privacy Policy
PinRank is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the website and the PinRank browser extension do and don't collect.
The short version
- The tools (keyword ideas, pin SEO score, description writer) run entirely in your browser.
- PinRank does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
- PinRank does not log into, read, or scrape your Pinterest account.
The website
What you type into the tools is processed locally and is never sent to us. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to count visits and see which tools are popular; this does not identify you.
The browser extension
The extension requests only the permissions it needs:
- storage — to remember your settings on your own device.
- access to pinterest.com pages — so the on-page panel can show a pin SEO score for the pin you are editing. It reads only the fields you are working in, on demand, and sends nothing anywhere.
- extensionpay.com — used only to process Pro subscriptions (see Payments).
The extension does not collect browsing history, does not track you across sites, and does not transmit the content of your pins to any server.
Payments
Pro subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. When you subscribe, they process your payment details directly under their own privacy policies — PinRank never sees or stores your card information.
Cookies
The website itself sets no advertising cookies. Third-party providers (analytics, and the payment processor during checkout) may set their own cookies as described in their policies. You can block cookies in your browser at any time and the tools will keep working.
Data requests
Because we don't hold personal data, there is nothing to export or delete on our side. For anything else, contact us below.
